In addition to routinely releasing the mud and reducing the strain on later treatment equipment, the Aquaculture Vertical Flow Settler is a sedimentation tank designed to capture and filter the rising particles in the fish pond.
How Do Its Parts Operate?
An entrance pipe in the middle of the pool allows water to enter the settler from top to bottom. To disperse the wastewater in the pool equally and gradually increase along the whole water flow section, an umbrella-shaped baffle is positioned beneath the pipe. Clarified water exits the pool via the nearby overflow weir, while suspended solids sink into the conical sedimentation hopper at the bottom of the pool.
