PLANTS FOR EXTENDED AERATION TREATMENT
Wastewater is frequently treated using extended aeration plants. To decompose organic materials and eliminate contaminants, they use a prolonged aeration procedure.
Operation
For small to medium-sized communities, extended aeration plants offer consistent treatment results. They run for extended periods of time, guaranteeing thorough wastewater treatment and increased removal effectiveness.
Depending on certain requirements and conditions, designs may change.

Extended Aeration Treatment Plants Benefits:
Screening for Influence

Wastewater is first screened to get rid of trash and big items.
Aeration
The basin is continuously supplied with oxygen or air, which enables microorganisms to decompose organic debris.
Discharge of effluent
Excess sludge is removed, and clarified effluent is released or treated further.
Equilibrium
An equalization tank is used to mix and store wastewater in order to balance changes in load and flow rate.
Sludge Settlement
In a secondary clarifier, suspended solids and microorganisms sink to the bottom as sludge.
Basin of Aeration
Wastewater is moved to an aerobic microorganism-filled aeration basin.
Recirculation of Sludge
To keep the populations of microorganisms stable, some of the settled sludge is recycled back into the aeration basin.
