Individualized, adaptable pump control and adjustment without the need for programming knowledge. The duties necessary to operate a pump assembly can change based on the use case. Generally speaking, they involve not just keeping a given output but also making the best use of the involved pumps to guarantee the longest feasible plant working period. That is not at all simple.
However, ANDRITZ provides a versatile control system for up to six pumps with varying sizes and outputs that are coupled to form an entire assembly through the ANDRITZ Pump Controller (APC). Owing to its unique design, the plant may be operated by the operator without the need for professional support, and more pumps can be added to the standard number at any time.

Adaptable configuration devoid of programming knowledge
APC provides a number of benefits that simplify and increase overall plant safety. Since the control system is pre-programmed to the general operating conditions of the plant, no equipment, programming knowledge, or trained staff are required for system activation. Operating modes and accessible sensors may be easily integrated into the system with a few clicks thanks to the various configuration possibilities. High operating reliability is significantly maintained by freely adjustable control parameters, which also offer automatic and ideal plant condition adjustment. APC, or ANDRITZ Pump Controller

Every detail in a look
APC is a compact, central unit that provides multiple functions and allows the defined control variables to be adjusted. The control system turns the pumps on and off, swaps out pumps for an ideal distribution of use, and changes out pumps in the event of a malfunction. In addition, it has flow monitoring, anti-seizing, and anti-dry running prevention features. These tasks are all completed automatically.
Through the use of a remote interface, the APC may be accessed from anywhere at any time in addition to being directly controlled on site. This feature also allows the consumer to request remote support and have ANDRITZ technicians install different updates.
Owing to its adaptable architecture, the ACP standard design can be expanded to include additional functionalities as needed.
Among them are:
  1. Considering additional analog and digital input and output signals for establishing connections with higher-level systems
  2. Vibration monitoring module
  3. Energy monitoring module
  4. Connectivity to different bus systems
  5. Including extra pumps
  6. Remote interface for accessibility regardless of location or time
