Our Narrative
What started out as a military necessity has evolved into a remarkable answer for the modern building sector. Ernest Tribe and Dr. Henry Hele-Shaw submitted the patent application for the Victaulic coupling in 1919. 
The idea was revolutionary: employing a gasket seal to unite pipes with bolted mechanical grooved couplings gave the industry a more effective and cost-effective method of assembling pipes more rapidly, safely, and over greater distances than ever before. Originally called The Victory Pipe Joint Company, the business changed its name to Victaulic by fusing the terms "victory" and "hydraulic." Originally, hydraulic couplings were employed to move fuel and water quickly. The company successfully entered new areas, such as mining, power production, and commercial construction, by deliberately expanding its emphasis.
