One type of water-soluble polymer is anionic polyacrylamide (APAM). Because anionic polyacrylamide's molecular chain has a certain amount of polar group, it can absorb suspended solids in water and cause particles to agglomerate.  Particle sedimentation in suspended liquids can be accelerated by it. Furthermore, it is evident that this type of chemical for water treatment can quicken solution clarifying and make filtering easier.
Characteristics

Anionic polyacrylamide powder Applications
  1.  It is primarily used in metallurgy, coal washing, steelworks, electroplate manufacturers, sludge, and other industries for the flocculation, sedimentation, and clarifying of industrial effluent.
  2. It can also be utilized for the clarity and purification of drinking water.
  3. When Handling Industrial Wastewater widely used in the treatment of metallurgical wastewater, wastewater from iron and steel plants, electroplating factories, and coal washing operations, as well as sewage with suspended grains, high concentration, positive charges, and mid or sidali PH value.
  4. When Handling Drinking Water, the molecular weight of the DFH-H-3 is generally suitable. Many facilities that produce drinking water get their water from rivers, which often contain high levels of mud, minerals, and turbidity. Even after going through the filtration and sedimentation procedures, it still doesn't meet the standards, thus flocculants need to be added. The amount of secondary mud was raised in the past due to the widespread usage of inorganic flocculants and their high adding quantity. Currently, DFH-H-3 is utilized as a flocculant; its addition quantity is just 1/50 of inorganic flocculant, and it has an effect that is superior to that of inorganic flocculant by a number of times. It is strongly advised to utilize the inorganic flocculant in conjunction with the cationic polyacrylamide (DFH-H-4 or DFH-H-5) produced by our firm for some rivers that have significant organic matter pollution.
  5. Recovery of Grain Stillage and Starch Loss from an Alcohol and Starch Plant The starch grains will flocculate to sediment if the DFH-H-2 is introduced to the starch plant's wastewater. After that, this sediment is caked and used as feedstock after going through a pressure filter's filter-pressing process. The DFH-H-4 can also be used to dewater grain stillage from an alcohol pant, which can then be recovered by filter-pressing.
