Applications of Poly aluminium chloride hydroxide:

Poly aluminium chloride, or PAC, is used to flocculate industrial and civil effluents and settle solid particles that are present in drinking waters.
Because chlorine is a component of the product formula, it also has a strong ant bactericide effect and works well across a wide pH range with higher turbidity.

Characteristics of Poly aluminium chloride hydroxide:

1-Flocs form and settle quickly when using PAC as a flocculent. Filtering the generated flocs is simple.

2. The water treated with PAC has superior quality compared to aluminium sulphate flocculent; the overall cost is lowered by 15% to 30%; and the solubility is improved.

3. A wide pH range of water can be treated with it. The floc function works with pH 5 to pH 9 water.

4-PAC works in low-temperature water and is appropriate for a wider range of water temperatures than inorganic flocculants. Less basicity is reduced, requiring less or no basifier.

5. Less salts are present in water treated with PAC, which is advantageous for ion-exchange treatment and high-quality water purification.

6. The PAC is less corrosive and simple to handle, move, and operate.
