Operation
1. Remove the protective cap of the electrode.
2. First rinse the electrode with distilled water, and suck it with filter paper.
3. Turn the meter on by pressing the key.
4. Immerse the ph meter electrode in the solution to be tested.
5. Wait for the reading to stabilize.
6. After use, rinse the electrode with water to minimize contamination. Turn the meter on by pressing the key. Replace the protective cap after use.
PH Calibration
1. Immerse the electrode in pH 6.86(under the temperature of 25) standard buffer solution of phosphate, and gently shake it.
2. Allow the reading to stabilize and with a small screwdriver turn the calibration trimmer inside the battery compartment until the display shows are corresponding the calibration solution.
3. Immerse the electrode in pH4.01 or pH9.18 the standard buffer solution of borax.
4. After one minute, the buffer solution value is corresponding to the measurement temperature is obtained.
Battery Install
If the hydroponic pH meter can not be switched on or the display fades, change the batteries. Open up the battery case and replace the batteries. Pay attention to the polarity of the battery.
