Without the use of potentially dangerous chemicals, Aquacomponents' UVC systems effectively eradicate microbiological pollutants. Through the UV generator cell's bottom port, water enters and swirls around a low-pressure mercury vapor lamp that emits strong ultraviolet light with a wavelength of 235.7 nm. Inside a factory-tested stainless steel cell, bacteria, viruses, and other microorganisms are safely eliminated after absorbing light energy that damages their DNA. After being treated, the water leaves the cell through the top port and is fit for human consumption.
How well do UV sterilizers work to treat water?
UV water sterilizers are very effective against bacteria and viruses, among other microbiological issues. Low-power UV sterilizers are useless at getting rid of these infections because many microorganisms are more resistant to UV light systems. We therefore take care to carefully build workable UV water treatment systems in order to eradicate any undesirable germs.
Aquacomponents actively designs and produces hundreds of UV purifying systems for commercial use. Our engineering procedure is simple and made to quickly produce UV water sterilizers that are both safe and effective. Products that sustain consistent or sporadic disinfection in the absence of substantial attention or evaluation are permitted by this process.

Even though our commercial UV systems need little care, there are still some things that need to be done, like:
Lamp Replacement

After a year of everyday use, Ultra Violet lamps, which are solarized rather than burning out like regular fluorescent lamps, save almost 60% of the heat energy of a new lamp. For example, dose levels above 55,000 µW-s/cm² can be produced by modern lights. This intensity, however, drops to around 30,000 µW-s/cm², which is the lowest dosage needed to effectively remove pollutants. It's time to replace the UV bulb when it drops below this threshold. As an added bonus, the lamp's lifespan will be significantly reduced if you frequently turn it on and off.
Avoiding Overheating
The ultraviolet lamp units that our engineers use are not susceptible to overheating, just like other lamp kinds. Thus, there is no longer a need to purchase additional equipment to deal with overheating problems.
Cleaning the sleeve of quartz
It becomes essential to clean your UV system to avoid dirt buildup around the quartz sleeve. Unclean UV sterilizers will eventually result in impenetrable quartz sleeves, which successfully block UV rays from entering the water through the sleeve. Regular cleaning of the glass throughout the lamp is necessary to maintain adequate purity. The frequency of cleaning is determined by the water's quality, and installing a pretreatment—such as media or cartridge filters—is encouraged.
Monitoring the Dosage of Ultraviolet
The intensity of the UV light and the extent to which the radiation is escaping through the quartz sleeve are determined using meters. The disinfection procedure won't work if the UV dosage is discovered to be too low. It is also helpful in indicating when the UV lamp needs to be changed and the quartz sleeve cleaned.

Applications
The ideal applications for a UV sterilizer include:

  1. Inhibit growth of microorganisms
  2. Drinking Water
  3. Reduce total organic carbon
  4. Remove chlorine and trace organics
  5. Remove ozone

Typical Characteristics:

  1. Reactor chamber made of 304 stainless steel in (S2Q-PA – S35).
  2. Reactor chamber made of 316L stainless steel in (S37 – S60).
  3. Visual "power on"
  4. The visual lamp life is still there.
  5. Failure of the audible lamp.
  6. Remind me to replace my lamps with sound.
  7. Vertical or horizontal installation orientation (with the exception of S37 and S60, which are vertical only).
Benefits and Advantages of Commercial UVC Sterilizers:
  1. In effect: Almost all germs can be disinfected by UV light.
  2. Automatic: Disinfecting continuously or sporadically without further care
  3. Fast: As soon as water exits the cell, it is fit for human consumption.
  4. Easy: Installation and upkeep are straightforward. Minimum amount of space needed
  5. Safe: No risk of overdosing, no addition of potentially harmful substances
  6. Economical: It just costs a few pennies a day to purify hundreds of liters of water.
  7. No Chemicals: No rusting issues or chlorine taste
