How Do the Components of LTS Operate?
Use the high-voltage discharge method to transform oxygen into ozone. This is done by applying high-voltage alternating current to high-voltage electrodes that have an insulator and a gap in the middle that permits oxygen or dry, filtered air to flow through. A blue glow discharge, or corona, is created when the high-voltage alternating current reaches 10–15 KV. The free high-energy ions in the corona dissolve O2 molecules and collide to form O3 molecules. The applied power supply voltage, current, etc., affects the ozone emission and concentration.
