An intelligent water dispenser called AQtap tackles some of the major issues associated with supplying a sustainable and dependable water supply in underdeveloped nations. The AQtap can be offered as a component of a comprehensive Grundfos water supply solution or attached to the current water network. AQtap facilitates the financial sustainability and accountability of water supply operations by providing an integrated platform for revenue collection and online water point administration.

Through a straightforward and easy-to-use interface and mechanism for credit transactions utilizing smart cards, AQtap facilitates the user-friendly dispensing of drinking water to customers. Customers use smartphone credit platforms or nearby water credit providers to load credits straight onto their WaterCards at the AQtap. Customers' WaterCard water credits are automatically and transparently subtracted when they tap water. This water dispenser is well-built, works accurately, and wastes very little water. Solar or grid electricity can be used to run the AQtap. For about twelve hours of operation, the inbuilt battery serves as a backup source of power.
