The demands of many water applications are satisfied by the end-suction centrifugal pumps SES and SKS. For drinking water, the close-coupled (monoblock) pump SKS and the long-coupled pump SES are approved. The SES is a long-coupled pump that can be supplied with an existing electric motor linked to a bare shaft or as a whole skid. SKS is a monoblock pump that is close-coupled and has an electric motor that can be powered by a frequency converter.

Principal Applications:

  1. Facilities for the supply of water.
  2. Networks for distributing water.
  3. Watering.
  4. Systems for cooling and heating.
  5. Applications in general industries.

Principal advantages:
  1. Approved for use with potable water.
  2. Reliable performance even in situations with a lot of pressure.
  3. Simple upkeep thanks to the "back pull-out" feature.
  4. Robust design that allows for continued use.
  5. Bearings that require no maintenance to extend their lifespan.
  6. SKS can be freely positioned on a vertical, sloping, or horizontal axis to accommodate any installation requirement.
Principal characteristics of the design
  1. Appropriate for high-pressure applications using PN 10 and PN 16 flanges.
  2. The pump body does not need to be removed from the plant pipes in order to remove hydraulic components, thanks to the "back pull-out" design. Closed impeller that is dynamically balanced to reduce radial loads and enable smooth impeller rotation.
  3. Suction profile created to lower NPSH for trouble-free performance under stressful circumstances.
  4. A shaft made of stainless steel that can sustain bending and torsion loads.
  5. Larger ball bearings have a longer service life and produce less noise during operation.
  6. A wide range of mechanical seals, also known as gland packings (SES), are available, each tailored to meet specific
  7. Fluid properties and usage requirements.
Additional characteristics that are optional
  • Simple to replace worn rings (typical for bigger models) shield the impeller and the pump body.
  • SES: Oil-lubricated bearings with an oil feeder that always maintains level.
