A novel kind of electrical device for reactive power adjustment and dynamic harmonic filtering is the active harmonic filter. It is used to overcome the drawbacks of traditional harmonic suppression and reactive compensation methods of the previous generation of harmonic filters, realizing systematic harmonic filtering function and reactive power compensation function.
