Another popular polyaluminum chloride compound is polyaluminum ferric chloride, sometimes known as PAFC. This product performs well in flocculation/removal operations because to the simultaneous presence of aluminum and iron ions in its structure, as well as a high concentration of positive charges. Because of its superior effectiveness and lower cost when compared to drinking packs, polyaluminum ferric chloride is primarily used in the purification of various industrial and chemical wastes. It should be mentioned that the presence of iron ions in the polyaluminum ferric chloride structure makes this type of pack unsuitable for drinking water filtration.

Applications of Polyaluminum Ferric Chloride (PAFC)

Purification processes of all kinds of industrial and chemical wastes.
It is not recommended to use this type of pack for drinking water purification.
