MBR is a novel water treatment method that combines a membrane separation unit and a biological treatment unit. It has numerous application possibilities. MBR consists mostly of a bioreactor and a membrane module. Sewage initially enters the bioreactor. Microorganisms breakdown pollutants in the reactor. The membrane module is primarily used to capture microorganisms and filter wastewater.

What is a Packaged Treatment Plant?
The package treatment plant includes an adjusting tank, anoxic tank, aerobic tank, MBR membrane tank, and equipment room.  In comparison to the old procedure, the package treatment facility can be totally automated, which reduces management complexity and dangers while increasing operational stability.
1. Anoxic Tank.
After passing through a pre-treatment system that removes big suspended particles from sewage, the raw water enters an anoxic tank for hydrolysis. Composing macromolecular organic materials into small molecules with hydrolase enhances sewage biodegradability.
It also provides a location for denitrification, which reduces total nitrogen content in the water. Both biological and chemical phosphorus removal methods are employed to guarantee effluent phosphorus levels meet standards.
2. Aerobic Tank.
The effluent enters the aerobic tank, which is oxygenated by an air blower and decomposes COD in the water with the help of aerobic microorganisms. The ammonia nitrogen (NH3-N) in the water undergoes a nitrification reaction, yielding nitrate.
 3. MBR Tank
The MBR membrane module is primarily used to remove bacteria and filter wastewater. The effluent enters the MBR membrane tank for solid-liquid separation, which reduces the amount of suspended materials in the water.
4. Equipment Room
The equipment room is where the electromechanical equipment is located. The equipment room includes air blowers, suction pumps, a PLC control cabinet, and UV disinfection and dosing equipment.
