The DWM 1000 is a two-wire electromagnetic flow controller designed for monitoring the flow of conductive liquids, pastes, and slurries. This insertion-type device's switching point is tunable across a full-scale range of 0.1...9.9 m/s or 0.3...32.5 ft/s. For welding the DWM 1000 directly onto process pipes (DN50...400 / 2...16"), a welding socket is included as standard. The long model (DWM 1000 L) is ideal for larger pipe diameters or open channels. It is available with either a threaded or sliding connection. Both variants have a safety chain for safe sensor removal and an optional isolation valve. For hygienic applications, the flow switch is also available with a VARIVENT® connection.
An optional spool piece can be used instead of insertion tubes to attach the DWM 1000 without the need for welding. There are amplifier relays available for a variety of AC and DC voltages. The switch can be purchased with an IP68 rating for temporarily or permanently immersed measuring points. Before shipping, the DWM 1000 is factory calibrated.
