Usually, a FRP membrane housing houses the RO membrane. To explain the operation of the RO membrane element, let's use the end port membrane housing as an example.
Raw water enters through the feed port with an intake plug under pressure. Following filtration, the concentrate exits the side of the RO membrane element and enters the feed port of the subsequent RO membrane element, while the permeate enters the central collector of the RO membrane and travels via the interconnector towards the central collector of the subsequent RO membrane element. Ultimately, the concentrate and permeate exit the drain port without a stopper, with the concentrate exiting the central collector.
